Badminton Tournament For Teachers

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Panglima Barudin-Limau Manis Primary School held a badminton tournament for teachers of Brunei IV Zone schools, in conjunction with the Teachers' Day celebration.

The badminton tournament was held at Kg Sungai Asam Sports Complex.-Guest of honour, Cikgu Hj Kamis bin Hj Talip, Senior Supervisor of Schools for Brunei II & IV, Department of Schools, presented trophies to the winners.

The matches were all doubles. Winners of the men's doubles were Cikgu Musa bin Hj Mohd Jumat and Cikgu Abdullah Bin Hj Mawang, while in second place were Cikgu Mohammad Noorhafiz bin Abdullah and Cikgu Hj Jaafar bin Hj Mohd Salleh. In the women's category, first place went to Cikgu Salmah binti Hj Angas and Cikgu Hjh Artinee binti Hj Kamlee, while Cikgu Zainab binti Hj Mokti and Cikgu.Juriadah binti Hj Saban came in second.

Also at the tournament were headmasters and headmistress of Brunei IV schools, as well as chairperson of the tournament and headmaster of Panglima Barudin Limau Manis Primary School, Cikgu Hj M Marali bin Hj Abd Karim. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
