Chung Ching Kids In Boots Of Firefighters

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three groups of Chung Ching Little Learners (CCLL) made a visit to Seria Fire Station this week. The educational trip was organised by Ms Jeannie Festin and Tricia Chain.

Acting Senior Supt. Abdul Azis bin Hj Mohamad, Mohd Taja, Mohd Kawi, Mobd Ashanisham and other firefighters briefed the visitors about their duties and responsibilities and what to do during an emergency.

The children were take on a tour around the fire station. One thing that caught the children's eye was the sliding pole, where a number of daring students rode on the backs of the firefighters and slid down the pole.

There was also shorter pole that the kids could safely go down on their own with minimal assistance.

The young students also got to meet female firefighters, proving to them that women could also be excellent firefighters, too. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
