Sheraton To Hold Car Boot Sale To
Benefit UNICEF

Begawan - In an effort to raise funds for UNICEF immunization
projects in the Asia Pacific region, Sheraton Utama Hotel will be
organising a car boot sale next Friday night
(October 6).
The 5pm-10pm UNICEF car boot sale
will be held at the hotel's parking lot. Those interest to take part
in the event will have to pay $30 per vehicle. Payment must be made by
October 4.
This will be the second year that the
hotel will be organising such an event.
Besides the car boot sale, Sheraton
Utama has also collected donations by selling UNICEF 'cutie' toys and
delivering packed lunch boxes.
The public can call Sheraton Utama at
2244272 if they wish to take part in the car boot sale or make a
donation.
Meanwhile, Sheraton Utama Hotel
recently organised a baking class to help raise funds for UNICEF. Over
60 people took part in the class, which was held at the hotel's Pool
Terrace.
The baking class was conducted by
Sheraton Utama's pastry chef, Dian, who has had 12 years of experience
in bakery and pastry. He has been a working at Sheraton for the past
nine years.
During the class, Chef Dian
demonstrated several techniques on how to bake chocolate lava pudding,
crepe fruit sabayon and Sheraton's famous mango baked cheese cake.
The pastries were selected, as they
have been very popular among Sheraton's guests.
Most of the people who attended the
class said that they were keen to learn how to bake for their friends
