Bright Jigsaw International
School's Annual Concert

Begawan - Bright Jigsaw International School, Jalan Muara held
its Annual Concert 2006 recently at the Yayasan Pengakap in Jalan
Gadong.
Present as chief guest at the event
was Hj Razali bin Johari, the President of the Malay Chamber of
Commerce.
The programme commenced with a
welcoming speech by the school's principal, Mrs Elizabeth Sequeira.
The concert began with a choral presentation followed by a performance
from the school orchestra. Amruth Kumar of Primary 5 enthralled the
audience with his drums presentation.
The Kindergarten Boys meanwhile gave
exhilarating and scintillating dance performances entitled "Teddy Bear
Twist".
Students also presented performances
depicting various cultures and nationalities such as the "Mexican Hat
Dance" performed by Primary IA, "Pinoy" a Philippine dance presented
by Reception B, a Malay Dance entitled "Sebarkan Ke Seantero Dunia" by
girls of Primary 2 and 3, and Indian dances by students of Primary 4,
5 and 6.
The main highlight of the event was a
drama entitled "Jungle Book 2". The act and costumes mesmerised both
the young and old. The student performers later received loud applause
for their brilliant performance.
The main objective of the annual
concert is to bring out the hidden talents of the students and to
grant them an opportunity to perform before of an appreciative
audience.
Bright Jigsaw International School
caters mainly to the expatriate community and follows the Singapore
