Prince Mohamed Attends Informal AMM, Asean Luncheon At UN

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Brunei's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, attended the Informal Asean Ministerial Meeting (Informal AMM) which was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, Friday morning.

The meeting was chaired by-Philippine Foreign Secretary and Chairman of the Asean Standing Committee (ASC), Alberto G Romulo. The meeting discussed several Asean matters, including Asean candidatures for various UN bodies.

HRH Prince Mohamed also attended an Asean luncheon in honour of Mdm Sheikha Haya Rashed Al-Khalifa, President of the 61st Session of the UN General Assembly. Also present was UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
