Stall Operators Ready For Fasting Month

Bandar Seri Begawan - Ramadhan stall operators were busy yesterday -erecting stalls in various places for the upcoming fasting month of Ramadhan.

The sighting of the new moon, marking the first day of Ramadhan, will take place at numerous locations around the Sultanate today.

If the new moon is sighted, Muslims will begin fasting tomorrow. Otherwise, the first day of Ramadhan will fall on Sunday.

The first day of the fasting month will also mark the commencement of trading for Ramdhan stall traders. During the fasting month, various stalls will be offering delicious and mouth-watering food for "Berbuka Puasa" needs of fasting Muslims.

Apart from allowing consumers to buy food for their breaking-fast needs, the stalls would also sell products and items for Hari RayaAidilfitri celebration in about a month's time.

Items such as Hari Raya cakes, biscuits, clothes and home, decoration items will also be available at some of the stalls.

Ramadhan stalls actually make for a good training ground for new entrepreneurs.
