Two Mosques Hold Tahlil Rituals

Bandar Seri Begawan - About 400 residents of Kampong Jerudong attended mass tahlil rituals recently at the Jerudong Mosque.

The event was j ointly organised by the Takmir Committee of Jerudong Mosque and Kampong Jerudong Consultative Council.

The function began with the recitation of Surah alFatihah by a mosque official, Haji Zulkifli Hj Murad. Later, he led the congregation in performing the tahlil rituals and the reading of doa tahlil.

Meanwhile, more than 200 worshippers attended a similar function organised by the Takmir Committee of Tanjung Bunut Mosque last Saturday.

The function began with the recital of Surah al-Fatihah led by Imam Hj Salleh Hj Sabli and it ended with tahlil and doa recitations.

A graveyard cleaning campaign was organised the next day at three cemeteries in Tanjung Bunut. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
