Begawan - Comets softball team defeated Go Divas 116 in a
nail-biting final to emerge champions of the first Ladies Softball
President's Cup 2006 at Jerudong Park Country Club yesterday.

they scored three innings in the first set before Go Divas made a
comeback to tie 3-3 in the second inning. But Comets added one inning
in the third set and held on to make it 7-3 in the fourth inning
before winning 11-6.

won the best battler of the tournament.
Comets coach Md Idris paid tribute to

right for the team yesterday.
