TelBru, GTE Pick Twenty ‘Log In To Win' Winners

Bandar Seri Begawan - Twenty lucky draw winners were selected for the `Log In To Win' contest organised by Telekom Brunei Berhad (Te1Bru) and GTE Directories.

The preliminary draw to enter the grand draw event was held at The Mall in Gadog yesterday.

The selected winners who were eligible to enter the draw for the all-new Toyota Vios also received their prizes. Among them were Nurulanisah Hj Ismail, Abdull Rahman Ahmad, Amir Rahman Hj Mohd Diah, Geoffrey Tan Hong Hui, Hayati Yahya, Mohammad Amiruddin Metassan, Lim Sioh Hoon, Muhammad Adib Hj Muhammad, Mohamad Adib bin Judin, Mohammad Noorsham Hj Abd Hamid, Faridah Hj Sirat, Aoh-Ai Chin, Sulong Hi Sawal, Hasa Hj Janudin, Felix Loh Koah Woon, Lim Bann Dih, Cheu Ying Choi, Giovanni Lambin Octavia, Hong Ping Kiong and Nur Azreena Hj Amit.

Apart from the Toyota Vios, participants also stand a chance to win a flat-screen TV, electrical appliances, airtravel tickets and many more.

The grand draw to pick the grand prize winner will be announced at a later date.

The `Log In To Win' contest was held in conjunction with the launching of the web directory (www.yp.com.bn) at the ICC in Berakas from August 17 to 19 this year.

An overwhelming response has been received from the public since its launch, said General Manager of GTE Yellow Pages, Mr James Lee.

The objective of the competition was to create public awareness on the new web directory which can benefit both advertisers and subscribers of GTE Directories.

Those who visited the website during the contest period were able to download entry forms of the contest and fill in the correct answers for participation.

All participants were also asked to attach a minimum of B$5 purchase receipts from any of the 2006 Brunei Telephone Directory advertisers. Over 20,000 hits were received since the launch of the contest.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
