Fire Drill At St James's

Kuala Belait - St. James's School recently organised a fire drill programme at the school compound for the children to teach the safety aspects of fire.

A team of firefighters from the Fire and Rescue Department in Kuala Belait brought in two of the latest firefighting vehicles to the school to demonstrate the safety protocol of putting out fires.

The students also had the opportunity to handle some of the latest state-of-the-art equipment used. School Principal Cikgu Mohd Ali bin Hj Ahmad said that the activity would help the children to handle any fire situation without any fear and panic. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
