Heart Posters Exhibited In Tutong

Begawan - A Healthy Heart Month poster exhibition was yesterday
launched at the Pengiran Muda Mahkota Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah
Hospital, Tutong.
Present as the guest of honour was
Acting Tutong District Officer Awang Haji Haris bin Othman.
Also in, attendance were Director of
Hospital Services, Ministry of Health Pengiran Hashim bin Pengiran
Haji Besar, Gleneagles Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) director
general Lee Cheow Seng, and Pengiran Muda Mahkota Haji Al-Muhtadee
Billah Hospital acting chief executive officer Awang Mohamad bin Haji
Abd Hamid.
Lee, who is also the exhibition's
co-chairman, said the exhibition provides the public with "all the
relevant information one would like to know about matters of the
heart".
Meanwhile, the guest of honour said,
"We all need to be aware of - and understand - heart disease in order
to take precautionary steps to prevent it."
He also noted the role of
non-government organisations in "encouraging our society to modify our
lifestyle so as to attain better health". The poster exhibition is one
of the activities organised for the Healthy Heart Month, launched on
August 20.
The posters have been displayed in
Brunei-Muara, Belait and Tutong districts, and will be launched in
Temburong on September 18.
The Healthy Heart Month, organised by
the Ministry of Health and Gleneagles JPMC, is the second time it has
