Media Gets Taste Of Mooncake
Making At Empire Hotel

Begawan - Chef Petrus Daryanto and his team shared a few tips
on mooncake-making with members of the media, in time for the Mooncake
Festival at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.
This Chinese delicacy - with fillings
such as red beat, white lotus, snow skin custard, and pandan - will be
made available at the Empire Hotel' and Country Club Lobby Lounge from
September 18 to October 6.
A four-piece set of mooncakes will be
priced at $26 per box, while individual pieces can be purchased at $7
a piece.
A special 10 per cent discount will
be offered on bulk purchase of more than 20 boxes, while a 20 per cent
discount will be offered when 50 boxes or more are purchased.
Empire Country Club members will also
enjoy a 10 per cent discount, while
Empire Rewards members will enjoy a 5
per cent discount on the mooncakes.
The mooncakes will be available from
10 am to 10 pm. Further enquiries and orders can be made by contacting

The fifteenth day of the eighth month
of the Chinese Lunar calendar marks the
Mooncake
Festival. During this occasion families get together to enjoy the full
