Firefighting Lesson For Over 800 Students

Bandar Seri Begawan - Over 800 secondary one, two and four students of Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan attended a briefing on fire safety and evacuation procedure as well as a demonstration on firefighting yesterday at their school's premises.

The briefing, held at the auditorium, was facilitated by Awang Noorzali, a public relations officer of the Fire and Rescue Department's training centre.

Following a lesson on the proper use of a fire extinguisher, a few students got to try it out for themselves.

The main objective of the briefing was to prepare the students in case of an emergency such as fire. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
