Employees Give Blood To Mark Mashhor Group's Health Week

Seria - A blood donation drive by the Mashhor Group of Companies at its headquarters in Seria yesterday received an overwhelming response, with 200 of the company's employees doing their share of community service - to help boost the country's blood bank in order to assist those in dire need of blood.

The blood donation drive was one of the activities in conjunction with the company's Health Week campaign, and was the fourth that the company had undertaken this year, as part of its Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) plan.

Leading the exercise was the chairman of the Mashhor Group of Companies, Malai Hj Abdul Hamid bin Hj Malai Mashhor. Members of the Belait Fire and Rescue Department' were also invited to take part in the blood donation effort.

Apart from the blood donation campaign to mark the company's Health Week, the employees also participated in other health related activities like trekking at Bukit Shahbandar, and a family day gathering at the Brunei Shell Recreational Club.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
