Lewd Grass Cutters Upset House Owner

Bandar Seri Begawan - A house owner called on grass-cutter company bosses to warn their workers to stop making lewd remarks to their maids.

He said two workers who trimmed the grass in his compound had knocked on his door to ask for water.

"My maids obliged but they started making some lewd suggestions about paying for the services. However, my maids rejected their advances," he said.

The owner said he took his maids' complaints lightly at first but the workers apparently continued to engage his maids in similar conversations. He said he told the grass cutters to stop doing this.
