Self-Accident Causes Traffic Jam Along Jalan Gadong By Rosli Abidin Yahya

Bandar Seri Begawan - A massive traffic jam occurred along Jalan Gadong near Kampong Jangsak yesterday morning after a car slammed into a lamppost, knocking it over and blocking half the road.

The saloon car allegedly swerved off the road before ramming the divider and hitting the lamppost.

The impact caused the lamppost to fall across the road. The normally busy double-lane road was jammed with vehicles as the self-accident occurred when people and students were on their way to offices or schools.

A similar jam occurred on the other side of the road as curious motorists slowed down to see the accident. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
