Paying respect to historical figures

Seventy primary four students from Pengiran Pekerma Setia Di Raja Sahibul Bandar Primary School recently embarked on a tour of the capital, headed by teacher Siti Rahmah bte Hj Md Tanjung.

The three-hour visit included stops at the Brunei Museum, Brunei Technology Museum and several royal tombs including late Sultan Syarif Ali, the third monarch of the country (from 1426 until 1432) and the founder of Brunei Islamic concept.

Among the objectives of the visit was to expose the students to the country's past through visits so as to make the subject of history more appealing.
