Donations To Help Buy House For Widow

Bandar Seri Begawan - A donation was held yesterday at the Brunei-Muara District Office. Two local businessmen donated $8,000.

Awg Jackson Ting of Syarikat Sunlit Advertising Sdn Bhd donated B$4,000 and the other B $4,000 came from Awang Chan Sui Kiat of Maju Motor Sdn Bhd.

On hand to receive the contribution from the generous donors at the ceremony yester-day was the Brunei-Muara District Officer, Dato Paduka I-Ij Md Yussof Bin Bakar.

The donation will be used by the BiuneiMuara District Office to buy a house worth . B$8,000 in Kampong Tamoi Ujong from Awg Saini Bin Apong. The house will be donated to Dyg Hafsah binti Hj Mohammad, a widow. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
