Mock Fire Drill In Bandar

Bandar Seri Begawan - A mock fire drill was held on Monday night at a hotel in the capital.

The mock drill was led by Commanding Officer A Command of Bandar and Muara Fire and Rescue Station and was assisted by two station commanders from the Bandar and Beribi Fire Station. The drill involved some 20 personnel from Bandar and Beribi Fire Station.

The scenario for the mock drill was that a fire had broken out on the second floor of a hotel and two individuals were trapped in a room.

The aim of the drill was to help familiarise Fire and Rescue Service personnel with a burning hotel that had many occupants. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
