New X-Ray Centre To Help Process Work Permits

Bandar Seri Begawan - A new X-ray centre has been opened that will help in the processing of work permits of foreign nationals in the country.

KOST Clinical Lab Sdn Bhd opened last Saturday at Unit 11, Ground Floor, Jaya Setia Square, Jalan Berakas.

According to Dato Hj Zainal bin Hj Momin, Executive Chairman, and Adzmin Dato Haji Md Hassan, Business Development Manager of the new lab, said the clinic was

opened in line with the call made last year by the Ministry of Health inviting the private sector to provide such medical services in the country.

Since time is of essence, they said the location of the new lab will be convenient for both the employers and employees as it is located near the Berakas Health Centre.

The company is a joint venture between a local and foreign investor and one of its objectives is to provide employment.

The X-ray centre is approved by the Ministry of Health, specifically the X-ray service to attain work permits.

The lab has two Toshiba Digital Frequency Inverter Type General Radiography System manned by a qualified radiographer approved by the Ministry of Health. The machine can take among others images of the abdomen and limb. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
