Brunei Win Takraw Bronze

Begawan - Brunei sepak takraw players brought home a bronze
medal from their recent participation in the 21st King's Cup Sepak
Takraw World Championship held in Thailand from Sept 2-7.
Brunei lost to Cambodia in the
semifinal of Division 2 of Men's Doubles competing alongside teams
from the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Pakistan, Iran, Singapore and
the USA.
Representing Brunei were Ismail Ang,
Saiful Rinol bin Sundai, Abd Adib bin Hj Ahmad, Mohd Selamat bin Yakup,
Kakhurrazi bin Semudin and Fathul Watan bin Bhasan.
They were accompanied by coach
Ittipol Komchaisak and team manager Salleh Abdullah.
Meanwhile, Brunei referee, Haji
Jambol Hj Kahar, a member of the International Sepak Takraw Federation
was also involved in the championship.
Haj
i Jambol was given the honour to referee the Women's Regu final
between Thailand and Vietnam with the host team emerging victorious.
Thailand also went on to win the
