Hand Book Helps Students To Read The Ouran

Bandar Seri Begawan - Haji Abdul Qadir Leong from the Islamic Dakwah Centre yesterday gave a briefing on "Al-Burhan", a religious handbook, to some 30 officers, teachers and students of Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Arabic Religious Secondary Girls' School in the capital.

According to Haji Abdul Qadir, the book uses "look and read" methods and contains many exercises for students to practice and train themselves.

The book has been used in many countries including Malaysia and Indonesia to teach students to read the Quran quickly and effectively.

Published in Malaysia, the book is currently sold in all branches of Pustaka Remaja bookshop at B$6 per copy. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
