Asean-Australia Development Cooperation Workshop Concludes

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 7th workshop of the A~oan-Australia Development Cooperation Programme entitled "Harmonisation of e-Commerce Legal Infrastructure in Asean" came to a close yesterday.

Held at the Sheraton Utama Hotel in the capital, the workshop coincided with the meetings of the Asean Working Group on e-Commerce and ICT Trade Facilitation.

Participants comprised technical and legal experts from Asean member countries.

The delegation from Brunei Darussalam, the host country, consisted of representatives from the Attorney General's Chambers, Ministry of Communications and AiTi. The workshop was jointly held by AiTi and Galexia Consulting, the consultants for the project.

The objective of the workshop was to help Asean and the Galexia e-Commerce project team finalise the content of the Framework Document and to develop a recommendation to the Asean Working Group on eCommerce and ICT Trade Facilitation.
