Chef Ismail To Host Cake Making Demo

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Women Institute (WI) of Brunei Darussalam yesterday announced its planned activities for the Hari Raya celebrations, during a press session at Emperor's Court in Manggis.

As part of its charity work, the association will be holding a Hari Raya Malay Cake Sale during the Ramadhan month.

WI members will also get a chance to watch a cake making demonstration, organised by the WI and fully sponsored by Nestle Sdn Bhd and IDS Borneo. The session will be hosted by famous Malaysian chef Ismail.

The sponsorship was yesterday presented by Nestle Brunei Manager Ismail bin Osman to WI President Hjh Marhani binti Abd Latif.

The demonstration will be held at Dewan Seri Kenangan Bukit Bendera Tutong on September 15. The 2.30 pm event will see the wife of the Tutong District officer present as guest of honour.

Meanwhile, a second session will be held at the Youth Centre in the capital at 2.30 pm the following day, during which the wife of the Brunei-Muara District officer is expected to be the guest of honour. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
