"I think I owe much of my success at the 6th ASC to my two instructors, Mr Navin and Cikgu Fatmah, and also to Royal Brunei Catering for pushing me to take up a competition at the national level, which then led to my nomination to compete in the 6th ASC," she added.

Dk Yani Mariana is currently working as Cook 2 at Royal Brunei Catering at the Brunei International Airport.

"I don't really know which were my best dishes at the competition, but I was really satisfied with the pastry that I did ... they were really nice," she said when the Bulletin asked which were her best dishes throughout the threeday competition.
