Mystery Leak Hits Kumbang Pasang

Bandar Seri Begawan – A leaked pipe in Jalan Kumbang Pasang this morning caused flooding and a traffic jam.

The Sewerage and Drainage of the Public Works Department said an underground sewerage pressure pipe had burst and a large amount of water gushed out, damaging the road surface and flooding the area.

Half of the affected road has been closed for maintenance works.

A Sewerage and Drainage official at the scene said the cause of the incident and time of leakage are still not known.
