Kg Melilas finally has a proper road

Residents of Kg Melilas in Ulu Belait are grateful that they finally have a proper road that reaches their village. The distance from Kg Biadong Ulu to Kg Melilas is 13 km and takes about half an hour to reach by 4WD vehicles. Usually the residents use the river to go to town. Photo right shows the 4WD Association of Tutong in a photo session with Pehin Datu Perkerma Dewa Haji Mohd Ali in front of the Melilas Longhouse while photo left shows residents witnessing the first vehicle to reach their village.
