Firoz Jaya Silkhouse Opens At Bunut Hua Ho Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - Firoz Jaya Silkhouse Sdn Bhd opened a new branch at the Hua Ho Mall, Tanjong Bunut, Jalan Tutong yesterday.

Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer, Awg Haji Jamain bin Momin, who was the guest of honour at the function, officiated the opening of the new outlet by cutting a ribbon at the function.

This was followed by the presentation of a mock cheque of B$2,000 by the Managing Director of the company, Firoz Khan, to the Brunei District Orphan Fund, which was represented by the Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer.

Later the guest of honour accompanied by Pakistani nationals working in Brunei and other distinguished guests took a closer look at the new outlet which sells 100 per cent silk materials imported from Italy, France, Dubai, Japan, Korea and Malaysia.

Items sold include French laces, Satin, top quality Chara-Melayu Teijin, pure silk. washable silk, songkets, Swiss cotton and others.

For the upcoming Hari Raya festival there will be 20 to 50 per cent discounts on newly imported fabric products with latest designs and prints. A doa selamat and al-Fatihah were read to bless the ceremony and light buffet refreshment was served.

Firoz Khan, the Managing Director told the Bulletin that the opening of the new branch at the Hua Ho Mall was due to popular demand and also as part of the expansion of the establishment in tandem with the positive economic growth in the country.
