BLNG Participates In GASEX 2006

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd (BLNG) and the Brunei Energy Association (BEnA) are representing the country at the International Gas Technology Conference and Exhibition of the Western Pacific Region (GASEX), which opened in Beijing recently, a press release from BLNG stated.

The biennial conference and exhibition is currently taking place at the China International Trade Centre.

The BLNG delegation is led by Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Senior Plant Manager while BEnA is led by its president, Haji Zainal Abidin bin Hj Md Ali, who also delivered a keynote address at the opening of the conference on Tuesday.

Two other representatives from Brunei will also deliver papers at the conference. BLNG's Head of Technology Services, Haji Jamain Haji Julaihi, will present a technical overview of BLNG's plant rejuvenation activities, while BSP's Senior Environmental Adviser, Pg Shamhary Pg Dato Mustapha, will share on the company's commitment towards protection of the environment and sustainable development. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
