EAST Cash Bonanza August Winners Awarded

Bandar Seri Begawan - Easi Unit- of DSTCom yesterday held its grand draw prize presentation for the month of August 2006 as part of its ongoing EASI Scratch, Recharge and Win Monthly Cash Bonanza promotion.

The prize presentation took place at the DST Multipurpose Hall, at Level 12 of the DST Group Headquarters in Tungku Link.

From a preliminary draw of 777 winners handpicked from a pool of entries, only the top 24 winners were invited yesterday to the Grand Prize Draw. Three lucky winners walked away with Cash Grand Prizes. Kong Ping, 46, won the first cash prize of B$7,777. Second place went to Gina Garde Garma, who won a cash prize of $3,777, while third place went to Abdul Ravoof Mohammed Mansoor who won $2,777.

The remaining 774 winners received EASI recharge cards in various denominations. Only 21 of the 774 would receive a consolation prize worth $100 each. On hand to present the prizes to the winners yesterday was SuhaimiA. Hussain, General Manager, DST Group Strategy.

The grand prize cash winner, Kong Ping told the Bulletin she had never expected to win the grand prize and was very surprised, adding that she planned to give her winnings to her daughter as a birthday gift. She took the opportunity to thank DST, and advised those who wish to win like her to simply "just try".

Subscribers can feel at ease as they still stand a chance to win as the promotion will still go on for the months of September and October. The EASI Cash Bonanza promotion, which was launched last March 2006, was extended to October 31 due to the overwhelming response from the public.

DSTCom advises its EASI users not to forget to send their recharge pin numbers by SMS to 8885555. Simply type `EASI <space> followed by the 12 digit recharge pin number' and send to 8885555. Every recharge and SMS sent will stand a chance to win any of the 777 monthly prizes.

Meanwhile, ten winners of the `My DST Account' online portal promotion will also be receiving prizes - 10 mobile phones - in the final grand promotion that ended last August 31, 2006.
