New Restaurant & Cafeteria Opens In Kg Kiarong

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Darussalam is rapidly developing with the establishment and opening of new commercial buildings especially in Brunei-Muara District. The progress and development show a good sign of economic growth that contributes towards diversifying the nation's economy.

This was stated by the chief guest, Awg Haji Jumain bin Momin, Acting Brunei-Muara District Officer at the official opening of new Azmee Restaurant and Cafeteria yesterday at Majid Mohamed Building in Jalan Pasar Baru, Kg Kiarong.

In his speech, the chief guest said the establishment of prestigious and modem restaurant and cafeteria would open doors and provide job opportunities for the locals.

He also expressed his gratitude to the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce for the contribution towards business growth in the country.

During the function, the Manager of Azmee Restaurant and Cafeteria, Awg Haji Munaff bin Abdul Sheik Dawood presented a B$2,000 mock cheque to the chief guest for the Brunei-Muara District Children Orphan Fund.

Also present at the function were President of Indian Chamber of Commerce Brunei Darussalam, Awg Nazeer Ahmad Zakaria and members of the Indian Chamber of Commerce as well as government officers and other invited guests.

Meanwhile, in conjunction with the opening, a variety of complimentary food and drinks were served to members of the public from 9am to 2pm yesterday.

The new restaurant is the fourth branch managed by Faize Restaurant with a modern concept. Regular customers can also sign up for the Faize and Azmee Restaurant Membership Card, which will allow them value added advantage.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
