Tutong Camp Visits Information Dept

Tutong - The Department of Information, Prihe Minister's Office yesterday received a group of visitors from the Administration and Manpower, Tutong Camp, Ministry of Defence.

Heading the group of 30 was the Assistant Public Administrator, Awg Zabidi Hj Abd Ghani, and on hand to receive the visitors was Head of Public Relations and International Affairs, Dyg Hjh Noorashidah Hj Aliomar.

The visit began with the singing of the national anthem and 'Bendera Negara' followed with the mass recital of al-Fatihah.

This was followed by a presentation on "Membudayakan Masyarakat Bermaklumat' by head of English News and Website, Dyg Sastera Sarini Hj Julaini.

The visit yesterday was one of the annual projects of the directorate with the aim of providing exposure and increasing the knowledge of its officers and staff on the roles' and functions of the Department of Information. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
