Crown Prince Visits Bolkiah Garison

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, The Crown Prince, Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and General Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), consented to make a working visit to the Directorate of Personnel, Ministry of Defence at Bolkiah Garrison yesterday.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by the Deputy Ministerof Defence Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel (Rtd) Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office Dato PadukaAwang Haji Eusoff Agaki, and the Actihg Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Brigadier General (U) Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud Bin Haji Saidin.

Also present to welcome His Royal Highness were the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, Dato Paduka Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Dayang Hjh Salbiah Binti Haji Sulaiman, Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the Ministry of Defence and other RBAF Senior Officers.

His Royal Highness' visit began with a group photo with officers and personnel under the directorate, followed by a presentation on the structure and organisation of the directorate delivered by Lt Colonel Yussof Bin Hj Abd Rahman, the Ministry of Defence's Acting Director of Personnel.

After the briefing, His Royal Highness consented to visit departments under the directorate and interacted with the personnel.

His Royal Highness began by touring the RBAF Manning and Record Department where he was greeted by Major Nooridah Haji Ibrahim and Captain Hajah Hamidah Haji Yusop.

This was followed by a visit to the Defence Personnel Administration Information System (DefPAIS), Force Recruiting Office, Finance Division and the Military Legal Unit. Meanwhile at the Military Legal Unit His Royal Highness' arrival was greeted by Lt Col Hj Harif Bin Hj Ibrahim.
