Commemorating Isra' Me'raj

A ceremony to commemorate Isra' Me'raj was organised by the Brunei Arts and Handicrafts Training Centre at Jalan Subok yesterday afternoon. Present at the ceremony were Awang Zainal Arshad Hj Abdul Rahman, principal as well as instructors of the training centre. The event began with a mass recitation of Surah al-Fatihah led by Awang Zohari bin Haji Abdullah. The speaker was Ustaz Haji Ismail bin Mohd Arif of Islamic Dakwah Centre. It was then followed by the Bertahlil ceremony to commemorate the late Al-Marhum Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Haji Sir Muda Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien.
