Trouble Shooting With JAPEM Innovative Proposal Scheme

Bandar Seri Begawan - The JAPEM Innovative Proposal Scheme was yesterday officially launched at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Present to launch the scheme was Community. Development Director cum guest of honour Datin Hajah Adina binti Othman. The Innovative Proposal Scheme has been introduced to allow JAPEMpersonnel an opportunity to submit proposals on ways to improve and identify problems in implementing daily tasks.

The scheme is also to ensure all personnel take on greater responsibilities in developing the department, and allow personnel a chance to practise tackling small problems without receiving directions from officers.

This was highlighted by JAPEM Deputy Director of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hjh Misnah binti Hj Bolhassan, in her capacity as chairperson of the ceremony.

The Innovative Proposal Scheme is open to all JAPEM officers and staff at the salary scale of C1 and below.

Later in the day the guest of honour presented the Innovative Proposal Scheme Guidance Book to the 13 appointed assessment officers. The highlight of the day was the certificate presentation for the JAPEM 2005/2006 Excellent Work Group. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
