Bakti Dewa Students Learn About Brunei's History

Bandar Seri Begawan - As part of the annual school activities, Bakti Dewa Primary School (Sg Akar branch) recently held an educational visit to one of the historical centres in the capital. Led by the class teachers, the visit was aimed at creating awareness on the country's history as well as to enhance the, pupils' knowledge about the country's customs and the Malay Islamic Monarchy of Brunei Darussalam.

More than ten pupils from KG 1, 2 and 3 participated in the trip that concluded with a photo session at the gallery.

Apart from the trip, the school also held a motivational talk recently for its PSR students at the school's main function hall in Jalan Kebangsaan Lama.

The talk presented by an official from the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Hjh Rogayah, was aimed at motivating the students on how to prepare for the upcoming PSR examination.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
