Chicky Carnival At Yayasan Complex

Bandar Seri Begawan - Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) held its first ever Chicky Carnival at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex- in the capital yesterday morning.

A large crowd of children, accompanied by their parents and guardians, had a great time at the event,-which was also attended by restaurant managers and staff of KFCs from throughout the country.

They were delighted by'the performance of an 11-yearold girl, Gette, who belted out three songs "KFC Jingle", "My Baby Doll" and "Alam Maya".

Armed with their coloured pencils and crayons, many of the children flocked to the colouring contest which was divided into four categories - Category A for children aged 3-6 years, Category B 7-9 years, Category C 10-12 years and Category D 13 years and above, said Norlyn Rufo, Restaurant Manager of KFC Yayasan.

The place was filled withjoy and laughter as the children mingled with the four adorable KFC mascots Chicky, Adora, Chippy and ES.

Also available were a "Games Corner", "Fishing in the Pond", "Spin-Wheel" and "Mini Basket Ball".

An eating of fruits such as apples and oranges contest as well as a 'Tele-match' were organised too. Other interesting games were "Egg & Spoon Race", "Hula-Hoop", "Filling water into a bottle" and "Human Bridge". -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
