Indonesian Stars To Rock JPCC With Dangdut Numbers

Bandar Seri Begawan - Female rocker of Televisi Republik Indonesia Lina Hara and Kontes Dangdut Indonesia's (KDI's) Imelda, Eny andAdi will be performing at the JPCC Amphitheatre, Jerudong on September 10 to raise funds for victims of natural disasters in Indonesia.

The concert is organised by the Association of Indonesian Community and the Indonesian Workers Cooperative'(IWC) with support from Afima Express Remittance - official partner of BCA Remittance - as the main sponsor.

IWC head Ali Mahfudz said the concert, entitled "Konsert Amal Indonesia 2006", is also aimed at bringing entertainment to local and Indonesian communities who appreciate dangdut music and "to commemorate Indonesia's 6151 independence day on August 17".

The four singers will belt out a total of 32 hit songs: "Bang Thoyib", "My Heart", "Anoman Obong", "Gebyar-Gebyar", "Laguku", "Goyang Senggol", "Memandangmu", "Nona Trendy", "Ingatlah", "Dunia Cinta", "Darah Muda", "Nirmala", "Syurga Di Telapak Kaki Ibu", "Layar Kertas", "Penasaran", "Teman Tapi Mesra", "Rekayasa Cinta", "Jujur", "Liku-Liku", "Kopi Dangdut", "Cinta Sabun Mandi", "Mbah Dukun", "Apa Ertinya Cinta", "Wakuncar", "Laksamana Raja Di Laut", "Gadis Atau Janda", and "Pacar DuniaAkhirat".

They will be backed up by local band Orkes Melayu (Dangdut) 'Dendang Satria'-Kampung Bunut, led by Haji Yahya Haji Mahmud, a retired education officer.

Tickets are priced at $5 each and can be purchased atAfima Express Remittance, Satay Ala Jawa Sengkurong, Asma Hotel, and Kebab Corner Rofi Moll.

The stars will be at the premises of Afima

Express Remittance on September 8 at 3.30 pm. Afima Express Remittance general manager Awangku Khairul Amilin Pengiran Haj i Mumin said some 5,000 to 10,000 people are expected to attend the charity concert.
