Prince Mohamed Arrives In Beijing For 8-Day Visit

Beijing - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade' and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pg Anak Zariah yesterday afternoon arrived in Beijing for an eight-day visit to the People's Republic of China.

Their Royal Highnesses were welcomed at the Beijing Capital International Airport by Mr Zhao Jianhua, Deputy Director General of the Asian Department and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.

Also present to greet Their Royal Highnesses were Haji Abdul Hamid HajiAbdul Jalil, Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to China.

While in Beijing, His Royal Highness will hold discussions with Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and pay courtesy calls on Premier Wen Jiabao and State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan before proceeding to Shanghai and Hong Kong. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
