Fashion Show And Treasure Hunt At
Javanese Food Fest

Begawan - Sheraton Utama had an eventful evening last Friday
for its Javanese Food Festival (which ends today). The hotel's
restaurant, Tasek Brasserie, was packed with many guests who came to
be entertained.
There was a fashion show with
children fromthe Indonesian embassy, who were dressed in colourful and
traditional attire, each symbolising a different province on the
Island of Java.
Staff members were also transformed
into the Ngamen or street musicians, who performed and serenaded
diners from one table to another.
In addition, there were a treasure
hunt and documentary screening, as well as complimentary shoulder and
neck massages courtesy of Cantik Beauty line.
A mini-exhibition showcasing the Java
Island as a tourist destination was also set up in the lobby.
Chef Bambane from Sheraton Mustika
Yogyakarta in Indonesia and other creative local experts had prepared
some popular Javanese authentic cuisine.
The food festival is supported by the
Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and sponsored by RBA. Baiduri
