Royal Audience For Malaysian Commander

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday consented to receive in audience General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Ismail bin Nik Mohamed, Commander of the Royal Malaysian Air Force, a press release from the Prime Minister's Office said.

During the audience, General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Ismail was accompanied by Datuk Ali bin Abdullah, Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei.

Also present during the audience were Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Data Paduka Seri Hj Awang Haibi bin Hj Md Yussof, Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Pengiran Dato Paduka Hj Abu Bakar bin Pengiran Seri Indera Pengiran Hj Ismail, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office and Dato Paduka Awang Mustappa bin Hj Sirat, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence.

Meanwhile, Her Majesty Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hjh Saleha also consented to receive in audience Puan Rosna Abdul Rahman, the spouse of General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Ismail. The audience took place at Istana Nurul Iman. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
