Prince Mohamed For China

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah, left for Beijing yesterday afternoon on an eight-day visit upon the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.

During the visit, HRH Prince Mohamed will meet his counterpart Li Zhaoxing for bilateral discussions and call on Premier Wen Jiabao and State Councillor Tang Jiaxuan.

Apart from Beijing, His Royal Highness is also scheduled to visit Shanghai and Hong Kong.

This year is also the 15th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Brunei and China and HRH Prince Mohamed's visit will mark another milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
