RBAF Celebrates Isra' Mi'raj

Bandar Seri Begawan - BAKTI Bolkiah Garrison recently celebrated Isra Mi'raj at the Officer's Mess Garisson, which was organised by the Welfare Body of Wives of Royal Brunei Armed Forces Personnel (BAKTI) Bolkiah Garrison Division.

Present as the guest of honour was Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General Dato Paduka Seri Hj Awang Halbi bin Hj Md Yussof, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF).

Also in attendance were service commanders, military director as well as other RBAF BAKTI units and officers of RBAF Attending as the guest speaker at the event was-Ustaz Dr Hj Ishamuhadi bin Hj Abdullah from the Islamic Da'wah Centre, who presented a religious talk on the significance of Isra' Mi'raj.

The event was aimed at reminiscing the history of Isra' Mi'raj during the time of the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and at the same time to strengthen ties among the RBAF community. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
