Congratulatory Messages To
Republic Of Vietnam

Begawan - His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei
Darussalam expressed his satisfaction on the warm and friendly
relations between Brunei and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and
hopes that this would be maintained in the future for the good of the
two countries and people.
This was said in a congratulatory
message from His Majesty to Mr Nguyen Minh Triet, the President of the
Socialist Republic of Vietnam and Mr Nguyen Tan Dung, the Prime
Minister, of the country on the occasion of their National Day.
In the message, is Majesty expressed
his satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep
understanding that had so long been established between Brunei and
Vietnam. His Majesty hopes that this would be maintained in the future
at the bilateral level, inAsean and in the international fora for the
good of the two countries and peoples.
His Majesty also hoped Mr Nguyen Minh
Triet, the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, would
always remain in good health and happiness and also for the people of
Vietnam to always enjoy continued progress and prosperity.
In a similar message to Mr Nguyen Tan
Dung, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, His
Majesty also congratulated him on the occasion.
His Majesty expressed his
satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations and deep
understanding that had so long been established between the two
countries. His Majesty has also expressed his wishes that this be
maintained and enhanced' in the future for the benefit of both
countries and its people. His Majesty wished Mr Nguyen Tan Dung his
continued good health and happiness and for the prosperity of the
people of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
In a separate congratulatory message
from His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, Minister of Foreign
Affairs and Trade, to Mr Pha Gia Khiem, Vietnam's Deputy Prime
Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HRH extended his warmest
congratulations to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Government and
People of Vietnam on the occasion of their National Day.
His Royal Highness also wished the
country great success as the current chairman of Apec and that HRH
looked forward in working with him in the coming years to continue
