Belia ‘A' Off To Perfect Start In
Hockey League

Begawan - Belia `A' topped the Brunei National Hockey League
after a perfect start of the season winning six games out of six.
Keeping four clean sheets and only
letting one goal a piece in two games and scoring 33 goals, Belia `A'
are serious title contender this season.
But defending champions Lun Bawang,
who also have a cruising start winning all the five games, are close
behind at second place. Although Lun Bawang played a game less, the
team from Temburong only scored 19 goals thus far and conceded four.
Lun Bawang will take on Belia `A' in what is believed to be a tense
encounter on Nov rl at 7pm while Belia B' will face off against MS
ABDB at 5pm.
The hockey league is taking a month's
break and will resume on Nov 11.
Meanwhile, Belia Girls' hockey team
maintained a 100% record after the first round of the Women Division.
Belia Girls climbed to the top beating ITB Girls 4-0, Rojak 3-0 and MS
ABDB 4-0.
Defending champions and second placed
Rojak, who lost 3-0 to Belia Girls on walkover rule, are closing down
the gap winning 8-1 and 9-1 against ITB Girls and MS ABDB
respectively. The Women Division will resume on Nov 13 with ABDB'
taking on Belia Girls at 7pm. --
