Ministry Of Culture, Youth And Sports Marks Israk Mikraj

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as departments under it yesterday celebrated Israk Mikraj.

The function was held at the Language and Literature Building's Sermayuda Hall, Old Airport Road, Berakas.

Present was the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Dewa Major General (R) Dato Seri Pahlawan Hj Mohammad Hj Daud.

About 150 officers from the ministry and personnel from various departments also attended the ceremony.

It began with a recital of the Al-Fatihah and ended with a doa selamat. The event's highlight was a special forum chaired by Mohd Amin Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Hj Sirat, with two expert panellists, Ustaz Hj Mail Besar and Ustaz Anwari Hj Rawaee. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
