Thai Airways To Introduce New
In-Flight Menu

Begawan - On December 1, Thai Airways will be launching its new
in-flight menu to its customers.
The airline will be introducing six
types of appetizers, 18 main dishes and six deserts, all of which will
be introduced in a 15-day cycle (six cycles).
Business class travellers with the
airline will have a variety of three dishes to choose from, whereas
those travelling in economy class will have two.
Among the new dishes that will be
served are roast beef strip lion with mushroom sauce, chicken curry
with winter melon, prawn masala, spicy grilled chicken with Thai
papaya salad, Moghul chicken curry, Cajun grilled smoked salmon with
basil pesto dressing, roast lamb leg with mint gravy, chicken vindaloo,
prawns in spiced coconut sauce, sesame coated prawn with Thai mango
salad, grilled sea bass with mustard cream sauce, beef rendang, smoked
chicken with apple walnut salsa, beef goulash and crispy chicken with
ginger chilli sauce.
As for deserts, the menu includes
passion fruit cake, Hazelnut cream cake, chocolate fudge and orange
cheesecake.
According to the Manager, Menu
Planning and Control Middle East, West and South Asia Division Thitiya
Theveelaporn, it is important for Thai Airways to create meals to suit
the customers' appetites.
Food served on the airline are halal
and are mainly oriental, Thai, Arabian, Indian and local dishes.
Present at the food tasting were
director and manager of travel agents, journalists as well as Royal
Brunei Catering Centre and Thai Airways staff members. --
