Ak Mohd Aizat is champion again

Ak Mohd Aizat Pg Abu Samah once again emerged as the champion of the 9-Pin No Tap Tournament in the Single Masters category at the Utama Bowling Centre on Sunday.

Aizat's win is his second in a row for the tournament and this recent success marks his seventh championship trophies in this year alone.

Aizat collected $1,000 for his effort. In second place was Adi Mulyamin bin Hj Mohammad ($600) and third was Khairunisa bte Hj Nor Ismadi ($450).

As for the Team Event, first place was won by HJR Bowling Club followed by Strike Home Bowling Alley and Starbucks in second and third respectively where the winners receive the challenge trophy.

The Doubles Event saw the partnership of Ak Aizat and Hj Didi taking the top spot followed by Lim Teck Chung/Ak Rijal and Hj Yakub/Dk Nor Ajeemah.

The Doubles Event champions got $200 as second and third received $150 and $100 respectively.

The meet organised by Strike Home Bowling Alley saw a total of 70 bowlers taking part in the two-week competition including clubs from Miri and the Philippines.

Present as the guest-of-honour to present the trophies to the winners was Haji Jawawi bin Rendah of the HJR Bowling Club.
