AF3 Stars Arriving Today

Bandar Seri Begawan - The 14 stars of Akademi Fantasia 3 led by overall winner Mawi who will be meeting their die-hard fans in concerts at the JPCC Amphitheatre, Jerudong this Friday and Saturday nights are set to arrive at the Brunei International Airport in Berakas this morning at about 9.30am.

Pg Hj Abu Bakar bin Pg Hj Othman, the Managing Director of De Hayat Musical and Production said also arriving in the 45-member delegation will be musicians led by Sham Kamikaze, ILL dance group, academy trainers like Linda Jasmine; artiste manager Mr Baha and the concerts' host, Ogy Ahmad Daud.

"Since Aznil Nawawi is not able to come because of other commitments, we have decided to bring another popular host Ogy Ahmad Daud, an actress better known as the 'laser-mouth host'.

While here, the stars - Mawi, Felix, Amylea, Marsha, Yazer, Keifli, Ekin, Akma, Reza, Amy, Aidil, Idayu, Fuad, and Elliza - are set for a hectic schedule.

After their arrival, Mawi and the 13 AF3 artistes will be ushered to LR Asma Hotel in Jerudong, their official accommodation.

The stars will then be having lunch with organisers and sponsors at the LR Asma Hotel in Jerudong.

"They will be having lunch with organisers and main sponsors, visit the offices of co-sponsors HSBC and Setia Motors Sdn Bhd as well as the Jerudong Park Medical Centre in Jerudong.

"The artistes will also be conducting a live interview with Radio Television Brunei in the capital and Kristal FM in Jerudong," said Pg Hj Abu Bakar.

Their expected arrival has caused a buzz in the Sultanate with most of the tickets for the two-night concerts nearly sold out. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
