Ministry Of Development Holds Weekend Bicycle-Athon

Bandar Seri Begawan - About 160 people took part in the 'Basikalthon 2005' organised by the Ministry of Development yesterday. It was part of the annual activities for departments under the ministry.

Present as chief guest was Deputy Minister of Development Dato Paduka Dr Haji Mat Suny bin Haji Mohd Hussein. Also in attendance at the event were the permanent secretary and senior officers of the ministry.

Following the sounding of the horn by the chief guest, the bicycle-athon kicked off, where participants had to cycle along Hassanal Bolkiah Highway, Kg Tanah Jambu and Jalan Rimba before returning to the starting point.
